Apple’s titanium credit card is renowned for its minimalist design and premium feel. However, some users have taken customization to the next level by removing the white coating to reveal the raw titanium underneath. This process, often referred to as “Apple Card paint-off,” transforms the card into a unique, personalized accessory.

Why Customize the Apple Card?

The standard Apple Card features a sleek white finish achieved through a multi-layer coating process. While elegant, this coating is susceptible to discoloration and scratches from materials like leather and denim. The original Apple announcement said the name would be laser etched. I’m guessing they had to switch to screen printing it due to production output limitations.
